Based on a monocrystalline PERC cell and 210mm large-size silicon wafer, the Vertex has a number of cutting-edge design characteristics that enable high power output of up to 670W. The research and development team at Trina Solar has developed a novel low-voltage and higher module string power output system with the objective of increasing system efficiency and lowering balance-of-system expenses. Trina may often tie 28 Vertex modules together. A single module string may boost power by up to 34%, reduce BOS by 0.012–0.014, and reduce LCOE by 1.2%–1.5% when compared to other reference modules.
